I would like for you to meet, my Poshette, my baby, Aria Noelle. <— That’s pronounced R-ee-uh. A-R-I-A. Not a-rye-uh..not Air-ee-uh.. just R-ee-uh. Yes, I know, my phonetics could use some sprucing up but hey, you get my drift. 🙂
On Monday, April 4, 2011 at 2:59pm, my life was forever changed.
I know that sounds so cliché, but it is the honest truth. My Sugar Pie, Honey Bun, and Apple of my Eye entered this world so sweet, cuddly, and innocent.
Fast forward almost two years, and my baby is still pretty sweet, but not so innocent. She just may be the bossiest, demanding, yet most insightful almost-two-year-old that I know. “Mommy what are are doing? I NEED pancakes and sausage!” — this is at 9:30pm. The first time, I’ll admit, she fooled me. I actually went downstairs and made this child some pancakes and sausage! I presented her with this late night snack and she said, “Unh uh Mommy. I dont want it!” and she turns her head away, and tightens her lips. (Inhale, Exhale, 1,2,3,4..) Now when she says, “Mommy, I NEED pancakes and sausage,” my response is, “No, you NEED to go to bed.” *Round of Applause for my Lesson Learned*
Anywho…here’s a rundown of Aria (because an interview would’ve been a LOT of babbles):
1. Favorite Food: Rice & Shrimp (Ahhh…interesting palette!)
2. Favorite Cartoon: Caillou
3. Favorite Color: Blue (I assume…anytime I ask her what color something is, its always Blue, lol)
4. Favorite Person: Daddy
5. Best Friend: Zoë
6. Favorite Toy: Kitchen Set
7. Favorite Song: Barney – I Love You
8. Favorite Activity: “Messing” (Me: “Aria, what are you doing??” Aria: “Messing!”)
While she may be bashful when you first meet her, once she warms up, she is so much fun! She is sassy, she is sweet, and has a very empathetic demeanor. In a very small nutshell, this is my Poshette, Aria 🙂
Love, Hugs, and Sassy Toddlers,
